Once he was a man of standing. He was the Fire Warden, a powerful man on his world and off it.
Then his daughter was stolen.
For five years, he's followed her trail across the star lanes, trying to recover her. Now he's found her, hiding in a multiverse Nexus. But instead of that being the end of the story, it's just the beginning.
